What is Search engine optimization?.

A search engine is a set of programs which are used to search for information within a specific realm and collate that information in a database.

Basically, a search engines is a software program that searches for sites based on the words that you designated as search terms. Search engines look through own databases of information in order to find what  it is that you are looking for.

When you use a search engine, you type words describing the information you're interested in into an empty box and wait for the result to appear. The search engines will display a customized web page with a list of pages that contain related content- often a very long list
